Description


This wool is 100% Perendale Lamb's Wool from Te Toko Station in the North Island of New Zealand.

It is 31 Micron - which is ideal for outer garments, cushions, blankets and afghans which need to be harder wearing.


The woollen spinning provides a yarn with a lot of loft to trap air for extra warmth.

The wool has been eco-friendly shrink resist treated - so you can be sure your special project is not going to decrease in size.

Tekapo Lilac gets its name from our beautiful Lake Tekapo area in the McKenzie Country of the South Island of New Zealand.  During the summer months it is stunningly beautiful with  thousands of wild lilac and pink coloured lupins in bloom.

This yarn is a 4 Ply / Sport Weight but is also available in 8 Ply / Double Knitting Weight.  Find the 8 Ply here.
