This beautiful, soft as a cloud, worsted merino knitting yarn has been described as "buttery" by the most experienced of knitters.  These yarns are made of some of the finest and softest merino wool ever used in hand knitting yarn - truly something special!

It is organically grown by Susan and John Elliott at their magnificient Lammermoor Station in the South Island of New Zealand.  These are natural colours - absolutely no dyes!

To ensure the integrity of John and Susan’s fabulous organic merino it has also been scoured (washed) using organically approved detergents at Agresearch in Christchurch and then spun by Design Spun in Napier who understood our need to keep the product organic

With its fine fibre diameter (micron) and high bulk it is perfect for next to skin knitting - especially aran and cable knitting. It will keep you toasty warm and bounce back to shape time and time again.

This is a premium wool not previously available in knitting yarn and is hand wash only with a good quality wool wash product.
